Anything to be concerned about? Or just a quirky walk?

I have recently noticed my DS does something strange with his arms when he walks. I only noticed it a few days ago when he walk walking really fast trying to run - he keeps one arm bent and up high in the on position, and then he has his other arm out straight and swings it flat out. It looks really funny.
I was just wondering if this is something to worry about - like is his balance a bit off, or a sore arm?? Or is he just being a quirky, kooky toddler trying new things out?
There's nothing about his arms that concerns me otherwise.

I'd say he's still working on getting his balance right, and trying to figure out how to go faster - and that could be what helps yeah?

I don't think there is anything wrong with him. Kelti runs with one arm scooped up to her chest, and one down by her side, both pumping furiously.. LOL.. it sooo funny to watch.

I'm sure there is nothing wrong

LOL, thanks Mel. It looks so funny! Yeah, he's not quite running yet, so he's probably working that out.

    I thought I better ask.

He will work it out, dd1 one runs with both arms up and she kicks her legs behind her. We think it's hilarious but then we saw someone running down our street running the same way so we hope she out grows it!

My DS runs kinda like that too. I always laugh at him. He's been doing it since he first started trying to run about 12 months ago & still does it. With the same arm he's always done it with.
Left arm like a wing, right arm down to the side & both going for it as if he's going to take off, lol!
