Is taking your BBT at the same time more important than the quantity and quality of sleep?
I have found so far that the later I go to bed the lower my BBT is at the same time of the morning as when I go to sleep on time. It is also lower when I have very poor quality of sleep... Like being awoken at 3:30 in the bloomin' morning thanks to some annoying phone caller. When that happened my BBT hit it's lowest low when testing after my alarm went off.
I have not been charting for long (only started this month) but I was wondering about others experience with this.
Should I keep setting my alarm for the same time in the morning, should I set my alarm for Xhours after I go to bed or should I just take my BBT when I wake up?
The difference in taking my temp has been like 6*C. It is lower when my alarm wakes me and higher when I wake up naturally. I am using a BBT thermometer and would really like any advice.
I'm pretty sure that it's more important to take it at the same time, no matter what the quality of sleep is like. Yes, I believe the sleep does make a difference, though taking it at different times would make more of a difference. Definately keep taking it at the same time. I don't think your temps look erratic at all. You are checking CP, CM & doing OPK's so all of these combined with your temps should pin point O accurately. Keep doing what you're doing.
