Your best care tips for bamboo nappies.

We have built up our stash of nappies and we need them to last as long as possible as they need to last the next baby and possibly a third. What are your best tips for looking after your nappies to ensure that they last as long as possible? Things such as dryer use, tips to keep them as absorbant as possible, tips to ensure that the elastics stay in tact and any other tips that you think are important. We mainly use bbh multi fits here. We also have some bbh bamboo fitteds with PUL covers, bbh night nappies, a MAL night nappy, bumgenious nappies and a few cushie tushies and itti bittis that dont really get used too often.

Its been said that unless the nappies have frequent use, then the elastic starts to deteriorate when placed in storage.

I don't know how true this is - but I do know a lot of people sell their nappies and buy new ones when needed for this reason.

Don't put the lid on the nappy bucket - less ammonia build up.
