    But it's a bargain!

I was googling Eurotrikes today, just interested to see if I could find them any cheaper online than the $180 odd dollars in toyworld. I found one that was a bit different to the one I was looking at, but it's normally $150 and was reduced to only $80 in an online store i came across, almost half price!! I was so stoked and thought $80 isn't much I'm sure we could spare that, but DF said no

Man I was so excited I could see DD & I going for a walk, her sitting in it having a ball (she's starting to get really cranky when I put her in her pram, I think she likes to be able to look around and see everything and have a bit more freedom of movement), me not having to push a bulky pram and having one arm free and the dog trotting along beside us. i should know not to get my hopes up first

My mum is a bit old school and doesn't really trust buying things off the internet so she'd probably say no if I asked if she'd like to go halves in it with us for DD's b'day. df reckons his dad is too stingy to go halves in it. Not sure about MIL...maybe, maybe not...

    Aw!
Perhaps you could fail to mention to your mum that it's online..
"Don't worry mum, just give me the $40 and I'll go and buy it, save you the trouble.. and I've already picked out the perfect one.."

Lol Skybie, the only problem would be when a giant box is delivered to the front door. He got cranky when I got a parcel this morning that had a few pairs of 2nd hand pj's I bought for her, mind you they were only about $3 each! Far out!

That's a good idea turtleschell, might ask her tomorrow. She was thinking about buying one of the little plastic trikes from big w for her, but this one is so much better because she can use it now and doesn't have to wait until she can balance properly. hopefully she hasn't bought her anything yet and she just might agree! i can just pinch the extra from our savings account and he won't even know

it's a little trike with handlebars and pedals and everything, but the seat has a harness so you can strap them in, and there's a long handle attached to the back so it can be pushed along and they dont have to pedal to move it.

    That is a shame.

My hubby never questions what i buy and what i dont buy. He trust me and I trust him.. works well.. at least we can be honest.

If you think DD would like it and enjoy it.. I would buy it!

this sounds really similar to the one we bought DD - we got it in Myer in the toy sale last June/July for only $40 (I think it should have been $100). The toy sale will be on soon, so maybe its worth waiting till then as you might get one cheaper

I had a chat to MIL and she said she would pay for it. But then I showed it to DF again and he thinks we should get her a pink one instead (the cheaper one is yellow and blue, the pink/purple one is the $180 one which we can get here from Toyworld). I really don't know what goes through his head sometimes He's going to see if he can bargain with them and get it a bit cheaper.

Didispunk- DF is always saying he doesn't care what I buy (within reason, i.e no huge purchases without talking to him first) but then when a parcel arrives in the mail (and it's not that often!) he moans about it! Lol
