What's the difference between and Ergo and a Babyhawk Oh Snap????

Need something a bit more supportive for Nate. He's about 10ish kgs.
We live where it's hot! I'm average size and height but DH is a man mountain (and I want to share the load so to speak).

I told DH I would seriously think about another baby if i could have a new one lol.

I was also looking at a Piccolo....but Mel's thread made me rethink that.

Hehe well since I have both.... I'll give it a go.

In the front carry - Ergo has a strap that goes across in between the arm straps, you reach over your head to put it together. In the Oh Snap, you don't need the chest strap, however, the arm straps cross over just below your neck, which I personally find too uncomfy. Because of this, I find that the straps that go around your sides dig into my back fat.

Both are very comfortable in relation to the baby weight and not feeling it.

The Oh Snap is harder to adjust when on than the Ergo.

The Oh Snap is better because the body is longer, Ergo has quite a short body and I always felt that my kids were going to fall out over the top of it because they are very long in the body. The Oh Snap is also prettier

Thats the biggest differences I have found anyway! Ergo is much easier to adjust though, Oh Snap always felt a bit backwards to me in adjusting. Both I found hard to put the kids in back carry on my own though, always needed someone there to help me, whereas with my mei tai's I can do it myself.

If you are looking for other carriers, I've got a Beco Butterfly II coming soon, so I can let you know how that one compares too.. LOL

hhmm bummer.....love the look of the Oh Snap, but the ergo sounds better but I have loooooong kids.
