    your experience of shared parenting..

Anyone who has had experience with shared parenting arrangements, whether it be 50/50 or slightly different, could you please share your stories with me.

At this stage my child is not even born yet, but I am wanting to be very prepared for what COULD happen in the future. And at this stage shared parenting is definitely an option. If you want to read more background on my personal story see the other thread 'how to approach the daddy'.

To put it simply I want to know all the good things, all the bad things, the benefits for the child, disadvantages to the child, how it made you feel as a parent etc.

    thanks xo

All I can say is, you need to read an article by Jennifer MacIntosh about shared parenting. Basically, it's not recommended for children under ten.
