Like I need more books...

BUT I just couldn't resist! My local bookstore have 50% off all their second hand books this month, I was wandering past this morning and had a flick through a few on the table outside...then dashed to the bank to get some money out and came back to buy them

3 books for $14, I just couldn't pass up the opportunity..who cares I already have nearly 40 books in my "to read" pile which I had to relocate to a small bookshelf next to my bed as the pile on my bedside table was becoming a safety hazard!

I think I need to join a BA club (bookaholics anonymous)

Lol. About half of them are borrowed from my mum...she keeps bringing me more every time I see her (thankfully not that often!), she's like my own personal library

I'll join your support group.
My bookshelves were overflowing but when we moved into this house DH left my books in storage and bought the empty shelves so now I have space for all my new books.
If I ever build my dream house I'm putting in a library with floor to ceiling bookshelves and a sliding ladder.

Onyx, you're not thinking big enough. I'm having three floors of floor-to-ceiling bookcases with galleried balconies, so you just get the whole "huge room of books" vibe when you walk in. (It's going to be a cross between the libraries in Disney's Beauty and the Beast and My Fair Lady).

I do love my books though and want to give them a proper home and their own room. They mostly share a room with DS now but as they grow that just won't stay a solution.

When we moved down from the Sunny Coast we got rid of a lot of stuff, we came down without lounge furniture even...but we brought the 30-odd boxes of books, and the bookshelves, cause no way was I getting rid of them.

ATM we have a lot of books in boxes after our shelf fell apart (overloaded maybe?).
I went through it the other week & found quite a few books I have 2 of... time for me to catalogue them I think.

I'm such a book nerd
