    Being a SAHM....

    IS AWESOME!!!

    This week and last week I've been working at my old work, filling in for my boss who has gone on a long awaited holiday.

    I have discovered....

    That although I am kinda enjoying the work again, I hate being there

    I cannot wait to get home to big smiles from DD

    That no matter how many rough days we have at home, we have more that are awesome.

    So I've been SAHM for 15 months and I love it!

    Hehe

    Just felt the need to share.

    Thanks Party-of-Five. Although with three kids, I can understand you needing a break! I only have one

    One of the best days ever for me was last year when I quit my full time job. I walked out of my work, picked up my girls from daycare and didn't take them back for a month lol. And now only DD1 goes to kindy one day a week. I love my job as a SAHM

    Thanks for sharing, Corelly. I am having a pretty rough day at home (I am a SAHM) but that just reminded me how lucky I am to be able to stay home with my kids - even if some days I wish I was elsewhere. I would really miss them if I had to leave them.

    :yeahthat:

    Cept I've been having a tough week. But thank you for reminding me that I would miss out on so much if I wasn't with them. Although... I probably wouldn't miss the constant whinging and whining from all 3 at once...

    Jodi - Love hearing other people say they love being SAHM too! Thanks for posting!

    Just me & Arimeh's Eden - I'm sorry you're both having a rough time at the moment. Things aren't always peachy here either. For me, DD was born with hip dysplacia and the hardest times was when she was armpit to ankle in plaster, at three months old, and that went on for six weeks. Back then, I wanted to be away because I couldn't bear to see it anymore, my darling girl like that. But we're finished with all of that and now we're smooth sailing and the tough stuff can just rack off! Hope you are both okay.

    It's good to stand up and say that you are loving your new career as a SAHM. Especially because it's often rough. It's awesome when the good moments outweigh the really hard moments.

    I have days where i'd love to be at work earning money, contributing to the family income and feeling like a 'normal' person (and not wearing trackies!). But I am glad we made the choice for me to stay home while the boys are still little and I know I am lucky we can do this.

    I have been a SAHM for 27 months and i love it too. {Most of the time }
