Think I ate slightly dodgy food...

I ate a chicken and salad toasted panini at coffee club yesterday. I am usually wary of pre made salad rolls and especially with deli chicken. However my extreme hunger got the better of me and I ordered exactly what I felt like! Well, since then I have had a queasy tummy (no vomiting) and just feeling generally off. It may be morning sickness I guess, but I have barely had ms and not to the point of it keeping me up during the night with a queasy tummy. Now I am concerned about the baby of course. Eeeek, please someone ease my worries!!

If you have just felt dodgy I would say bub would be ok. I had the same thing happen from seafood last week, didn't vomit at all just had lots of tummy noises and felt yucky. I can still feel bubba kicking and had an ultrasound two days ago in which everything was fine.

If it puts your mind at ease see your doc, but I think its the really bad food poisoning that you need to be concerned about with bubbas.

I guess if it was bad I would be at least throwing up right?? I have an ultrasound this week which is good.

I've had slight food poisoning and gastro this pregnancy and bub is fine.

And if it was bad your body would be doing EVERYTHING to get rid of it. So would be sick from both ends (yum hey lol)

I'd tell my doctor and make sure that I mentioned it was chicken. Lysteria doesn't always come with a host of strong symptoms and better to be safe and mention it.

Congratulations! Hope all is going well (aside from this worry)
No harm in telling your doc if you're worried - I'm sure it's fine though.

Thanks girls for all your suggestions. As it turns out I feel much better now. I have no idea if it had anything to do with the naughty food I ate, or whether I just had an upset tummy. Bit hard to distinguish between the ms!!! But its all good now and I have an ultrasound tomorrow.
