    Do these names go together?

So we already have Grace Ayva. We like the name Ella if this next one is a girl. but DP wants to include the name Gael but i dont really want it as a first name and i dont think Ella Gael go together...do they?

Then....what if its a boy. thats a whole different question

Sounds like Abigal when I say Ella Gael over and over. Saying that they do go ok together and how often do you say first and middle names together!

It does not flow in the reverse! and would you want another G inital???? I wanted all diff first initals but other people dont care.

Personally I don't think it flows very well. Agree with Limeslice too many L or A sounds or something.

Having said that if you love it go for it, does it have some signifcance, family name? Then I would consider using it anyway.

How often do you really say your whole name anyway?

... i was about to so the same thing !! ... or so sorry but strangely enough even 'alligator' came to mind !!

I'm guessing Gael is after someone special to your DP ?? ... Is it someone special to you too ?? If so i would put the Gael in as a middle name not a first name.

Would you mind two middle names ?? (my DD has two middle names, so do i ), i thought just incase you have another middle name you might like to add in there.

thanks for all the replies. Angella is my grandmothers name and my mothers middle name and i like Ella as a shortened name from that (angELLA) and Gael is my DPs mother who passed away a year ago on tuesday. (6th) of this month. We will use Gael as a middle name deffinatley, but finding a first name that we love to go with it is the hard thing.

WOW i've never seen Angella as a name !! Is it pronounced Ange - ella not sounding like Angela ??, oh my it's such a beautiful name ... Could you consider Angella Gael (you probably have yeh )

I think it sounds wonderful together and you could always call her out loud Ella for short

... Yes, yes Gael then must be in as a middle name, and such a special middle name it is
