The things I have used with Imran are spray on/leave in conditioner, Dora the Explorer detangler and a satin pillow case.
In an emergency I just put a beany or hat on and deal with it later![]()
DD has fine hair that ends up in an afro birds nest at the back overnightThis morning it's the worst it has ever been due to her incessant rowdiness (ie ended up in my bed and partook in lots of rolling around) and I'm about to tackle it cos it's 10.30 and we need to venture into suburbia to do essential stuff.
Can anyone share some tips on the best way to manage this, besides shaving her head (thanks for the helpful suggestion DH).

silk/satin pillow case hun.
DD1 has tight as ringlettes and always used to wake up with dreadies at the back that took me forever to brush out, sometimes had to cut out because they wouldnt budge! but the pillowcase has worked wonders
Dd2 is the same, I use a spray detangler for kids and a comb to contain it, it's impossible to get her to stay still though. You can also make up a mix of conditioner and water to put in a spray bottle.
