How long did your baby stay on losec?

Hi,
just wondering how long your baby had to stay on losec?
My DD is now 9 months and still on it. I have missed giving it to her a couple of times in the last few days (been very hectic) and have noticed symptoms starting to come back already - so will be must more vigilant in the next few days.

I just hate the thought of her being on meds for a long period of time. he was on zantac by 3 weeks and then the losec by 4 months (though wish they had given me the losec from the beginning as could have stopped alot of associated problems that severe gastro reflux causes.

Of the kids I know who've taken it, they've stopped as early as 7 months, ranging through 10m, 18m, and one who was on it til he was 7 years old.

We weaned it at around 10 months..but it's so individual isn't it..
