Soccer

Hi everyone,

I didn't realise that soccer season ends so quickly - in other parts of the world it goes on all year and we'll be ending the season here sometime in August. My son loves his games and training and I don't want him to lose/forget some of the skills that he has learnt. I live in the Western Suburbs of Sydney and would like to know what other soccer families do in the off-season?

You might want to look around and see if anyone does age specific indoor soccer or futsal. Or summer soccer camps. Some clubs might do events during the off season too.

Our soccer club runs "six a side" summer soccer during the off season, usually the same teams they played with throughout the yr, the only thing is that because its during off season there is no insurance, so we have to sign a waiver, it keeps him busy till xmas and then we only have a few mths off till soccer seasons starts all over again.

Maybe ask if ur club runs something similar?
