    Exclamation Urgent help! Fleas

What do you use for fleas?
Our poor girl has a bad case & they just won't bugger off!

A few months ago we had another dog as well, but we sent him out to mum & dad's coz he was too big for the yard & thought the problem was solved. Before he went they were living on our verandah. We got the ant/flea/tic sand & that dealt with the fleas up there & the tics in the yard.

We have been washing her every fortnight or so, but not as often now its so cold. She's an outside dog & can't be in here to dry.

We've used a few things, but none of them have really worked. I put tea tree in the water to dry on her after the wash too, but its just not enough!

Now she's just started getting a bald patch on her hind leg. I need the best stuff out there. We're getting the sand (probably 2 lots this time) so we can do the whole yard, including under the house where she sleeps, but what do I use on her?

Please let me know what works for you. My poor girl
I really don't care what it costs right now...

frontline/advantage are expensive but they WORK. Sometimes you need 2 treatments to get rid of the little buggers. We scrunched up peppermint leaves the scattered them all over the place when we had a bad infestation one year - vacced every day.

Yeah, I had them inside for a few days earlier in the year, but they're long gone now. Its just her & the yard.
I can't believe I didn't notice sooner! She doesn't seem irritated to me, so til I saw the bald patch I didn't think they were this bad.

I second frontline! Kills the fleas and the eggs and all!

    Good Luck!
