    Frozen chicken HELP?

Can anybody tell me what to do with this silly chicken?! I have 4 chicken marylands (like, a 1/4 chook I think they are) that I intend to turn into little mini-roasts for dinner... but it's freezing cold today and I don't know how to work the defrost setting on my microwave! How do I get them thawed out by about 4pm, or should I just start cooking them now?

Are they frozen Rock solid?? Have you still got the booklet for your microwave? You should just be able to hit the defrost button then add the weight of the chicken in and press go?

I often just put chicken etc in a pot of cold water it seems to help it defrost, when the water gets really icy I will change it for more cold water.

Thanks guys Will run it under cold water for a bit and see if I can separate them, if that fails to happen in the next ten mins or so I'll play with the microwave (eep!) and see if I can just get them apart, then throw them in the oven and go from there lol Thankyou!!
