CM - mucousy and bloody

I know there’s probably nothing to worry about (I am madly rationalising with myself). But the last two days I have had (on and off) CM that is mucousy and bloody (more a light red, not bright red). Should I be concerned at all? Haven’t felt anything else different. I have had pretty consistent amounts of CM this pregnancy – not sure if I was the same last time (I seem to remember lots early on, but not so much about now).

I only had my scan on Tuesday and everything was fine, so I’m sure this isn’t anything...

BTW I am currently 20 weeks.

Honey I think that you should go and get yourself checked out just to be safe and put your mind at rest

Star, Did you find out what was causing it?

I had the same symptom after a combined test scan (the specialist was pressing rather hard) but my regular ob told me mine was from marginal placenta previa. The CM spotting lasted about two weeks.

Its always scarey to see any kind of blood! Hope you got it checked out and everything is now ok!

Hey Mumma - no I didn't end up getting it checked out. Nothing more happened the next day and everything is fine now. Placenta is in front and up high, so wasn't that, just one of those things, I guess!
