2 cake mixes, how long to cook?

I can't decide which cake mix to cook with DD1 today and am tempted to mix them both then mix like a marble cake????
BUT how long would i cook it for and would it still be at the same temp?
I have a square cake tin that i think would work, it has quite high sides so should allow for 2 mixes...

    WOULD IT WORK?

generally I would give it the time for 1 then check and reassess and give it longer
Just test with a skewer and be careful opening and closing the oven

You will be better off making two separate mixes, and making two marble cakes - so half mix of each recipe in each cake.

Making 2 mixes together is never really a good idea, but you may want to try doing it in a broader pan as opposed to a higher one. brush the top of the cake with water before you put it in the oven, and if it looks like it is getting too dark on top before the centre is cooked, cover it with foil halfway through.
