You will LOVE it! I've lived in Noosa for 10 years and it's paradise here!! Muna beach apartments are nice and along the river which is lovely for picnics, great for walking and there's play areas along there although the main one is down the other end of that river walking strip from muna beach apartments. The restaurants and shops and cafes etc are also down the other end of the river strip to those apartments however if you've got a bike or scooter or just love walking it's not far at all, even walking with your pram will be lovely along the river and if it's warm and you're really keen you could even dare a swim in the river as it'll be calm there. The beach down hasting st is a bit further away, you'd need to get a bus. Not sure where Sunshine Cove is? I'm guessing somewhere in Sunshine Beach? If so it's pretty hilly over there so not as great for pram walking and there's not 'that' many shops to look at or places to eat but it's open beach area rather than river. I'd rather stay near the river or hasting st (calmer beach) areas with kids. HTH and enjoy!

Was just thinking that you could try the Islander, it's a better position, located more in the middle of Gympie terrace and would probably be cheaper? It's also got a great pool area... check out the locations on google Earth too

We went to Noosa in March and stayed in Noosaville at the Coral Beach Noosa Resort. We went for 10 days and a two story townhouse cost us $900. We could walk to Hastings Street (not a quick walk though), it was a two minute walk from a heap of restaurants, and the owners of the place are super lovely. Have a wonderful time wherever you stay, it is just heaven up there.
