    3 Years!! :)

I'm just giving myself a little public woo hoo, cos I've been breastfeeding for 3 years (and 2 days, but who's counting). DS1 just turned 3, and he fed everyday until DS2 arrived, at which point DS2 took over and is going strong. I was expecting to be a tandem feeder (and with my supply, kind of hoping DS1 would help out), but it was DS1's choice to stop feeding the week that DS2 was born, his main comment being "eww yuck Mummy, it's hot!" - bless him. When I first started this motherhood journey I thought 12 months would be my goal, but I'm so delighted & lucky to have it last so long, which is a clunky way of trying to put into words the warm fuzzy feeling I have about it all, I wish I could explain it better. Anyway that's it

Good work! They are both clearly benefitting from it as they are such healthy boys - and not to mention cute!
