When should my chart start? had IUD removed last week

OK, Just wanting to make sure...

Last Monday (7/19) I had my IUD taken out. I had it in for nearly 5 years, and had very little bleeding unless I was under lots of stress. The past few months tho I've had dark brown bleeding for a couple days - always light tho. Since it seemed the IUD was wearing out and it was nearly the 5 year mark, I decided to have it out a few months early.

So 7/14-7/16 were the last days of brown discharge, much like the end of AF. I put that as CD1-3, which puts me at CD13 now. Last Tues-thurs (CD7-9) I had some brownness that was a little more than spotting, but I think that was my body after the removal of the hormones. Right now I have full-on EWCM for the past 3 days, and if my cycle is 28 days (unlikely with my past but you never know) I should ovulate tomorrow...

My questions: 1) should I indeed start my cycle chart on 7/14 then? And if so, 2) Would my body still likely ovulate if I had the IUD out on CD6, thus the hormones keeping my body both less likely to O and have very little lining no longer being there? 3) If I didn't start my BBT until a few days before I O, would it still possibly catch when I O and when things are getting ready to meet AF again (if I don't happen to get a BFP)? 4)If I was starting to have cycles again with the lining being shed the past few months, would that indicate I might have a normal cycle happening already?

Of course, all of this is speculation. Just wondering what you all thought. I have never TTC before, so I've only researched this past week about cycles and fertility signs, etc. TIA!

I would give your body at least a couple of months to let it settle back into its natural routine. Trying to get a predictable pattern this month might be a bit early.

    Good luck with TTC
