DD has discovered her vajayjay

Last night in the bath, DD kept fiddling with her fanny. And since then, she has been doing it during nappy changes, and I just noticed her doing it when I was feeding her.

So my question is, is this normal? Is she just exploring, or could it be sore/infected? It doesnt look infected at all.

Exploring I would say. Eden grabs at hers all the time too - especially when I have put nappy rash cream down there and spreads it everywhere.. LOL

Completely normal for them to do it. Just make sure that if she does do it during nappy free time etc that she doesn't get too rough with it JIC she does introduce an infection/scratches herself.

Yep completely normal - and it does get worse too. DD1 used to have her hands down her pants all the time - it drove me crazy for a while!

Ah, so it's not just little boys who like to fiddle down there!

My DS is a shocker - come bath time his hands rarely leave his bits!

Yep, my DD has started it as well!

Worst is when we give her a toy or something to occupy her hands during nappy change and the toy or whatever ends up being smooshed in her bits

Yep - our DD has started doing this too - DH was quite embarrassed the first time he saw her do it during a nappy change - he wasn't sure what to do!
I reassured him it was normal and that it was nothing to worry about...and I laughed when he said he thought it was only a 'boy' thing! lol

Phew, at least now I know it's normal, and DD isn't the only bub coping a feel...haha! And things got a tad messy before, I won't say too much, but there was poo and sudocream involved
