What pearls of wisdom have you to impart??

In honour of DS turning 12 weeks old yesterday, I was thinking of all the things I've learned in that time. What have you learned from being a parent?

Here's my list:
*Buy the proper Chux for wipes, not the el-cheapo ones. Although they're about 1/4 of the price, they go all pilly and leave 'fur' on bub's butt after they've been washed a couple of times. And it's really hard to pick fur off boy bits even when they're not wriggling around.
*Pumpkin soup just doesn't have the same appeal it once did...
*I shouldn't have laughed at the friend who gave me 16 washcloths and told me it wouldn't be enough.
*Ditto for getting 5 bath towels.
*Poos and wees really are funny!
*Although pants look really cute on, a wondersuit is sooo much easier when you're changing nappies constantly.

* that changing poopy nappies arn't that bad...but finding it all down her legs and having to change her clothes and not get poo on me is!
* that it's ok that my life will never have the order that i used to love again!
* I hate dressing DD is cutsie outfits as they are such a pain in the bum - i put her in a jumpsuit within an hour (i hear ya JLeigh)
* Buy the bigger size nappy sooner rather than later
and finally...that hand-me-downs are a godsend when your 12 week old is already in '00'!!!!
