    Roseola twice?

Hello, DS had a high temp the night before last and this evening he has a rash thet looks very similar to the Roseola rash he had 3 months ago. (very fine dots all over his back/torso, none on his arms/ legs)
    Can this happen twice?

I think thats the same as slap cheek?
If it is my DD1 had 2 different strains of it. Slap cheek as a baby, then fifth disease this year. Different, but from the same family iykwim.

Yeah, I think the doc said it was fifth (or sixth?) but no red cheeks. Just dots on his torso. he is perfectly fine, eating and no temp, so I guess he is ok??

Sounds the same as they all had here. The rash mine had lasted a few weeks from memory & kind of looked like lace on their legs & bellies.
Can't remember if it started like that or not. They were fine, no reall issues with it, but hope that you don't get it. My friend picked it up from her DS & the symptoms are so much worse in adults, including headaches & bad aching joints. She couldn't cope & had to go stay with her mum for 2 days.

sounds like roseola from high temp then a few days later the rash, is he immunised?
DD2 had what we think was roseola 10 days ago but beacuse she wasnt immunised we couldnt rule out that it was rubella as they are very similar

Olive, he had his MMR 10 days ago (he is 16mths old).
Maybe it is a reaction to the jab?
Clover, so far DP and I are fine fingers crossed it stays that way.
