Ergo is great, my DS1 who also had reflux was happy in here from 4 months till about 10 months.

I also have a close carrier that I bought before DS2 was born and its great too.

You would get more use out of ergo as can use until they are about 4 on your back.

I've had a few carriers, had the Ergo and sold it to get a Beco. I liked the Ergo, not the sport one so much, but it was a bit short in the body for the kids, so I felt like they were flopping out a bit too much. Beco is longer in the back, plus its got this awesome feature where you put bubs on the front and then you just pull them around to your back, and there is no way they can fall out - I love that feature!!

I also have a Kleinsmekker mei tai - which is awesome, but depends if you are after a soft structured carrier, or a mei tai. I've heard the pikkolo is a good carrier as well, although never tried it. I tried the babyhawk Oh Snap, but it didn't suit my body type (I'm a bit of a cushion) so I sold that one too.

If you are interested in half buckle carriers as well (sort of a cross between a mei tai and a SSC) then bamberoo's are supposed to be super comfy too.
