What's the best way to clean up vomit?

DS spewed all over the floor a little while back and I cleaned up the solids with paper towels, then cleaned the floor. But just wondering if there's a better way that doesn't involve half a roll of paper towel.

This is why be brought a vax vacuum cleaner LOL. I don't even have to clean up the chunky bits first - just suck it all up and shampoo the carpet/floor/lounge at the same time.

I hope he is OK though, poor little guy.

oh. he's fine! He has a bit of a cold & cough, and i think it just triggered an unfortunately timed gag reflex (right after afternoon tea).
Does it clean out of the vax ok? How does that work?

Yeah it cleans out fine. When you use it for shampooing carpets normally, you take the bag out and the bit with the filter on it, and insert the bit that holds the clean water with the detergent in it. all the water gets sucked up the hose and into the reservoir where the bag usually is and when it's full you empty it. When I'm done I just suck up some clean water to get any grit out of the hose and then take it all apart to let it dry out. If I have done vomit, I will suck up some clean water with disinfectant to get the smell and germs out, empty the reservoir and then do it again and them leave to air out.

All I can add is that it's best not to add to it

That's what would happen if I had to clean it up... ick!

It was on the tiles, so no dramas with smell.
Yeah, I had to clean some sick up off my friend's kid a little while ago as she went green and looked like she might faint.
