    Smile Natural FET

Has anyone had a successful FET natural cycle? I contemplating going through this as the HRT really messed my system up? I am 39 and a little worried about wasting time.

    Hi Tracard,

I had one fresh transfer, and 6 natural FETs - and one BFP. We're now parents to a 2-month old boy, after a natural FET. We were treated for MF infertility, and I was never given any drugs for my FETs because my fertility was considered pretty good. I'm 29.

I don't know much about treatments given during FETs because I never had any, but I'm sure it depends on your individual circumstances and what your FS recommends.

Hi hun, I had one fresh transfer and one natural FET and both resulted in pregnancies. I ovulate on my own with no probs, and the FS told me I didn't need any support with the FET. GL with your cycle hun!!

HI tracard! im currently on a natural cycle, i think it has been much easier. Iv had 1 fresh cycle and 2 fet medicated cycles and the reason my FS and i decided to not do another was the same as you i think, my body wasn't responding to the mediction properly, i had really bad lower back pain and stomach pains and i started to spot with each of them before my BT. I did get a BFP from the last medicated one, very shocked and dont know how with all the pain i had but i lost it at 5 weeks. My DR told me that if your body dosn't respond to the medication and you ovulate ok then a natural cycle is best, i also asked him if the sucess rate drops with the natural cycles and he said no its the same. So goodluck and i hope you get your BFP xx

Thank you all so very much. As you all know it is nerve racking. I am hopeful that this is it. I am glad not to be taking all the oestrodial as that sent my body haywire. Also i my cycle is super regular and I have no ovulation problems. Fingers crossed now just waiting for the first day of my cycle about one week.

Good luck Oneday86 I hope all goes well for you

I am going to be doing a natural FET cycle in a couple of months (going to do a uterine biopsy next month to test for NK cells) and when I asked my FS about the success rates he said something like...... they originally started HRT for FETs when they thought that women's stress & anxiety would affect the results, so better to override it all with HRT. But then, a year or two ago they started doing natural FETs (I might have details wrong so don't crucify me) expecting the success rates to drop slightly, BUT it was the opposite. Good luck!!!
