Woohoo! So excited I purchased a DSLR today!

I used to love my old SLR until they introduced digital cameras and after years of buying crappy digital cameras I finally followed through a bought a DSLR. I am so excited the battery is on charge at the moment so I cannot try it out until 7pm and by then the girls will be in bed and it will be dark outside so beware DH I will be stalking you tonight!

I got a Nikon D90. I am so excited! It turns out the battery didn't need as long as they told me so I have been snapping already, yay! DD1 is sick of me and DD2 has gone to bed... I think I have to wait until tomorrow to go outside to have a play.

Hahaha - I took photos of everyone asleep I was so keen to use my new DSLR too (Nikon D5000) - so I totally hear ya sista!!

It is amazing!

I took a photo of DD and said what a great photo, I was looking at the overall clarity, it wasn't until I actually looked at DD properly that I noticed dribble and vegemite all over her! but it is such a great photo you don't get that with a crappy camera... you just delete it.
