So I am sitting here feeling defeated & betrayed.....
My story is basically this: DH (34) and I (34) have been TTC for over a year. After a long history of difficult menstruation was finally Dx in July with Stage III Endo,ovarian Cyst, polyps and fibroids. All discovered/removed during an Lap/Hyst/laser work etc...
After all the countless tests from FS we were also told I have a limited ovarian reserve and Hubby has MFI (low no. , poor morph.).
FS recommended we start IVF but due to financial constraints we have opted for 3 rounds of IUI instead to start with (basically until PHI waiting period kicks in - Jan 2011).
So today Af arrived and I have to admit I am disappointed..a small (aka large) part of me had kinda hoped that we wouldn't have had to go down this route....that a miracle would happen in the first full month after surgey and it would all happen on its own...
SO after all that ramble my question is this....
I have to start 50mg of Clomid on day 3 of my cycle as part of the IUI but I am a little confused as to which day that will be:
The reason is this, my cycle has always been 28 days with the odd 27 day cycle. Up until my recent surgery AF always started heavy and eased off after 4 days but lasted up to 7 days. Last month was a light AF lasting only 3 days with spotting on CD 4( I took that as a side affect of surgery). This time I have started spotting - light flow on CD26 (wed) and it kicked in "properly" on CD27(thurs). So my question is for the purpose of IUI which day do I take as my new CD1?
