    Labour around the corner?

Ok, so I was due yesterday... today I am losing my mucous plug and it is accompanied with cramping (period type pain). What are my chances of having baby soon??

Are you scrubbing floors or washing windows?

It really depends. Some women lose their mucous plug a couple of weeks before labour, others lose it during labour. It wouldn't be definitive indicator and the cramping could still be braxton hicks. Take a nice stroll, have a big drink and then relax. If the cramping goes away, it's braxton hicks. If the cramping ins't effected or increases then your chances are good - so go take a nap while you still can, you'll need your strength.

Yes, I've had the nesting instinct pretty bad these last couple of days!! lol

And the cramping is constant....like a mild dull ache that doesn't go away no matter what i do...

Don't get nervous, just go with it. Breathe through each contraction when you need to. Most of all, try and relax.

    A quick update!

It's been 24 hours since i started losing my mucous plug. I am still losing it, but the cramping/back pain has stopped.

I was able to get a good nights sleep though, so thats a plus!
