    Sleepy tired baby

    Hey,

Over the past couple of days, missy has gone from being able to stay awake for 2 hours, to becoming really tired again after 1-1.5 hours. It's puzzling me, I thought that the times were meant to get longer?

Is she maybe just tired from a growth spurt? She is slowly starting solids, could it be that?
I'm baffled, it feels like she is constantly napping at the moment - and she is sleeping like a champ all night!

    Very weird, any ideas anyone?

She's probably just growing lots or something.

It sounds like a growth spurt perhaps? Unless she's coming down with something? Does she seem well? Woohoo for the great night sleeping!!

She seems ok, but it's so unlike her. Which is why I'm posting. It's not like she's gone from not napping to being a champ napper, she's just wanting to nap earlier than she usually might.

    Tiz weird.

I've taken her temp and it was fine. She doesn't seem to be having any bother with her teeth at the moment.
    Hmmm.....

I was going to say growth spurt too. It takes more energy to digest solids, so if she's just started on those it could also explain the need for a little more kip.

True, i did wonder about the solids thing. We're doing it really really slowly - I didn't think it would have had that much affect on her!

    Thanks xxxx
