Okay, so the scammer now has his home address...

A friend of mine has just realised he's been scammed on an item he sold online. He's reporting to paypal etc, but he had originally given his home address for a local pickup by an 'agent'. It was just a fluke that I was telling him about my cousin who was scammed in the same way, that's how this friend realised he was possibly being scammed.

Do these scammers have a reputation for using the home addresses? It worries me that he's given out his address now....I've told him to contact the police as well, but just wanted to know if they tend towards violence if the scam doesn't work?

Usually the 'agent' is being scammed too, so shouldnt become violent.
