Special gift for DS15, need ideas

Tomorrow is the last day of DS's course and then he has two weeks work experience with a mechanic. He has done so well, passed all his tests and we are just so proud of him. We would like to buy him something special, something that will remind him of what he has achieved but honestly I have no idea whatsoever. Any ideas would be great appreciated.

    Regards,
    Dianne

If he is going to continue in that field what about a tool box with some tools in it?
Or some overalls lol so you dont have to wash oily stuff

i was going to suggest tools as well, but seeing that he is 15 and maybe interested in continuing in mechanics maybe look into getting him into a pre apprenticeship course so he can do his apprenticeship if he doesnt keep going through to year 12...

i like the bomb idea for him to tinker with as well!!

I love the tool idea...you could even get one engraved with a special message about how proud you are.
    Well done to your ds

Of course it is the obvious, didn't even think of tools. Love the idea of engraving one of the tools which would make it extra special. He does want to do an apprenticeship but wants to do Yr10 next year. I'm sure he will be tinkering with my car, he's already told me he wants to change my brake pads, been squeeking for a while now.

    An engraved wrench sounds fantastic!
