So I looked at cups a few months ago, procrastinated, never got a round toot, and now I'm looking again and I'LL BUY TONIGHT if someone can give me some good advice
I can buy a nice pretty turquoise Ladycup for $41.23
Or I can buy two pink ones for $67.75
Seems like a pretty good saving.
But ... Would it really be a saving? Would it be good to have two, or is one definitely enough? No chance of Shel using it, absolutely NO chance (believe me I've tried), so they'd both be mine. Does one person need two cups? I'm thinking probably not. You'd think it'd be handy, but since you can just rinse/wipe and put it back in during the day, and it's not hard or a long procedure to sterilise it (I assume it just requires a boiling?), then one would be fine.
Then again, if I bought two, then theoretically, that would last the rest of my fertile life
And I sort like the turquiose ones better, but then if two would be handy I'd settle for pink.

LOL it's a menstrual cup (which is why it's in the menstrual cup section ). It's a cup you insert into your vagina, and it collects menstrual blood. And you just take it out, empty it, give it a clean and put it back in. You use it instead of tampons for lots of reasons. I'd like to try it mostly because I find tampons too drying, and also because I can't find a good reason NOT to use one, since we've swapped a lot of products over from disposable to reusable. Shel can find a good reason not to use them but blood isn't an issue for me, especially not menstrual blood, so I'm going to give them a go.
