First day at work experience

Today DS15 starts his 2wk work experience with a mechanic. He was so excited this morning, up bright and early and was telling me to hurry up for a change. I just hope it goes well for him and he enjoys his day.

He's actually with our own mechanic who is very nice, but a bit hard to understand sometimes, he's Chinese.

Geez, it's nearly 6.00p.m and he hasn't rang for a lift yet. What a long day for him, he will be exhausted.

That is great Dianne.

My DF is a mechanic. Was somewhat troublesome at school as he just didnt like school and left in year 10 and got his apprentieship. He now has his own business and it kept him out of trouble. Great to have a mechanic in the family if thats the path your DS takes as well as you will save a lot of money on your cars!

my dp has just started a mechanics college course and is loving it. im glad your son is enjoying it xx
