DH has been having a few issues with an apprentice and until recently there had not been any written warnings given, she recieved one last monday but has not signed it does that make it not valid? I was under the impression that you just get the peice of paper and that was it as the reciever you have to just take it..
She then went on to get 10 days stress leave the following day ..
It could be a problem if she's fired down the track and you have no record of her signature acknowledging the written warnings. I'm not sure how you'd go about getting her to sign them though, personally I'd ring the apprenticeships board. She'd have a case manager wouldn't she? Might be an idea to talk to them first, let them know whats happening, they're generally pretty on top of things...
