How should I go about this....(its long sorry)

Sorry, this will be long winded.....For the past week at bath time I have stripped DD off and she has toddled up to the bathroom while her bath is running she walks over to the shower, opens the door, climbs in and does a wee. The first time I was a bit suprised and didnt really know what to say except 'oh, you did a wee' but then after that she has done it every single night since and I have said 'wee' as she goes and then given her a clap. Last night she wee'd 3 times, getting in and out each time and then did a poo in there too I guess it all sounds a little feral but bare in mind I didnt actually teach her to go in the shower cubicle
Today, I got out the toilet seat and put her on the toilet and asked her to wee, she started moving her belly in and out but didnt go, so I got her off. Then after her nap I put her back on and she did a wee in the toilet. Even though her little bum is too small and she almost falls through the toilet training seat
Tried again at bath time but she didnt want to be on there so I took her straight off, she promptly walked to bathroom, in the shower and wee'd. Getting in and out again 3 times so I would clap for her!
Soooo, I guess Im wondering do I keep up with putting her on the toilet while she is happy to do so and obviously dont force her or should I put a potty in the shower if the toilet doesnt work? I had planned to try TTing at Christmas but she seems to be very excited about weeing out of her nappy now, so do I run with it? She is 1 next Friday so hardley very old kwim?
Any thoughts would be appreciated and if you made it this far you deserve a massive
    Thanks

Personally I'd be putting a potty in the shower for a few weeks & then gradually bring it out of the shower so she learns that it's not the place for wees.
