Natural remedies to repel silverfish?

Hi There

I have silverfish in my closet and one of my favourite sweaters was eaten I hate the smell of mothballs let alone having them in a closet where the girls could potentially climb and get them. Are there any natural ways I can deter silverfish?

so it's in the list for today. They are truly horrible things and I want them out of my clothes!

They hate anything that smells. So pop in some lavender (or whatever scent) pot pouri (sp?) in mesh bags. It'll make your cupboad smell nice and get rid of the silverfish.

I was just about to post about this! We have them downstairs in our luggage, and I was going to give lavender a go.

Pantry moths hate bay leaves, so I'm chucking a few of them in too. Can never be too sure!

oooooh thankyou. It's now making sense as to why people put lavender bags in their closet. We have bay tree so will be throwing in some as well for good measure!
