    2yrs, 1mth, 27 days & we are done

DD has weaned herself off BF at 2 years, 1 month & 27 days.

However she has transitioned to a dummy after never using one before. We had all the ones she was given as a baby in the toy box & because DS has a dummy she had to have one too. So no more BF to sleep for her at night she just uses her dummy.

I am happy she did this herself & that we made it this far but, Im also a bit sad because it means my first baby is growing up

What a great bfing journey you and your DD have shared!! And I take it you've been tandem feeding as well for the last couple of months. I'm sure your experience will mean you can give a lot of good advice to others who face similar situations. Well done to you.

I hope she gives up the dummy just as easily when it's time.

You must be so proud!!! And sad at the same time, bitter sweet

Annabelle still has a dummy when she's tired, big deal, its comfort. Mind you Lucy HATES them

She used to hate them too. So I dont think she was quite ready to give up but was sick of having to wait for DS to finish first
