So when I had Caitlin I lost some (all?) of my mucous plug at 33+5 and then my waters broke at 34+2 and much to my shock the little princess arrived the next day.
I was 33 weeks yesterday and this morning I felt that there was discharge on my undies and just expecting it to be clear didn't think much of it until I took them off for my shower. To my surprise the discharge was darkish and stringy and then when I sat on the toilet I passed what was either mucous plug or a clot, didn't get a good look as it sped off round the s bend! I haven't had any bleeding during this pg which makes me think it is more likely to be plug.
I rang my ob and he said there really isn't anything he can do and to just rest up and not over do things. Easier said than done when you are chasing a 2 1/2 y.o. and remembering the SCN journey from last time and how much more difficult it would be juggling this with said 2 1/2 y.o.
I am stressing that this bub will come before 34wks and I will have to go public as my private hosp will only take you from 34wks.
I know I could be possibly way ahead of myself worrying about this and the chances are I will go to term this time with no problems, but I am just wanting to know from people that have had prem bubs how their subsequent pg's went and should I be worrying.
