    Toddler socialisation?

What do you do for toddler socialisation?

Until now LO hasnt been interested in other children, now he is really starting to interact and show interest.

What can I do for him to get him more socialised? He is more used to playing with adults than children (probably why he talks so well lol).

Ive looked at putting him into child care but there doesnt seem to be any places and for reasons I wont get into FDC is not an option. Due to scheduling playgroups are not an option for us either.

We already do swimming lessons but there is very little interaction at this point with the other kids.

What else could I look into and try?

And do you think it is important for us to get him into something that will brooden his socialisation with children his own age?

    Thanks a bunch

    Gymbaroo
    Playgroup
    Mini meastros
    Occasional care.

We go to mothers group and swimming.
When I only had 1 we went to gymbaroo.

DS1 is starting occasional care 1 day a week for 5 hrs next week for him to get more socialisation etc.

    Do you work?

Maybe invite over a couple with kids for lunch on the weekend ( BBQ)
Hubby recently made a new friend at work
And he had two little ones
So they have been coming round lately and ds is thrilled to have two new playmates,

Being nearly 2, the other kids are 2 and 5 yes old so it's great
