My mother found my 20 year old "New Born Baby" doll that had been packed away and was all excited until she realised the entire left hand side has permanant marker on it. I want to give it to DD as she's baba (baby) mad. It hasn't been directly scribbled on but was packed next to a doll that had it's hair coloured in during my little sister's hairdressing phase
We think it's been packed away for about 10 years so the marker is old and it's on a rubberised surface i think may be similar to a "baby born" doll.
Does anyone know how the permanant marker can be removed without damaging the rubber?
if its been in storage for 10 years the permanent marker is most probably soaked into the rubber... so you may have to soak the doll's hand. In what i don't know, as amali*baby said maybe eucalyptus oil?
Thanks for the replies. I might have to get my mum to do a spot test first and see if the eucalyptus oil affects the rubber. I think she's a bit worried about wrecking it because I loved it so much lol. I'm 3000kms from her so I can't test it myself
