Potential Perth Pinkes- Tri with me?

    Hey Perthies

Anyone thinking of doing the pink?
Its a lovely event, women of all shapes, fitness levels, sizes and ages!
Last year (24 weeks pregnant) I ran (or actually walked) along side a 72 year old woman doing her first tri and up ahead was a lady going through chemo for breast cancer.
    Anyway
If it sounds like fun (I promise it is) and you want some support at the start line (you can start in teams) I have started a team in the 300m swim/ 10km ride/ 3km walk/run called
    Fantastic Finishers
As the name suggests its about getting in and having a go, and just getting to the finish line be it walking or running, freestyling or doggy paddling, on your racing bike, mountain bike or bike with flowers painted on it/

If you want any more info PM me
    Any takers?

It is on the 7th November
You can check out the website http://triathlonpink.com.au

    Ah, maybe next year!
Sounds good though, hope you get some of the BB girls out there.
question - do you have to do all three things or can you just do one leg and others do other bits?

Most people do all three but there is a relay team option where you just do one leg.

Sounds great- Some of the ladies in my outdoor training group did this last year and I am sure that someof them are doing it again this year. I am definatly out for this year, but I might put this on my goals list for next year.

PollyA, how'd you go with this?!

I did the short course, first time ever. It was so much fun! Struggled with the swimming, but I did it and I finished it in 31:02. Looking at doing more tri's next year!

I am really excited for next year- it is my #1 exercise goal for next year! Aiming to do the short course, but hoping by then I will at least be fit enough to do the medium course
