    Bath Products

Bath products - what do you use? DD2 has a minor case of dermatitis and was wondering what products others would recommend?

QV products or Dermaveen. I use the QV oil if either of the boys have dry patches on them. Oskar got it quite bad this winter... so it was that and then Dermaveen cream... I think it's an oatmeal cream? I also have Moogoo cream for after bath which helps too.

I seond Goat's milk soap. It is very gentle but has a really string track record for kids with all kids of skin conditions.

We use QV or Dermaveen here.

I have heard the Moogoo for after the bath is fantastic, I must try some!

We have 2 eczemary kids ( I made that word up, can you tell?) and we use Gaia in the bath and QV lotion afterwards. I am going to get some Moo Goo as well though as we had great success with the cream for them when it flared up badly.

I use a 1/4 cup Epsom Salts and a few drops of lavender oil in the bath water, and then I rub them down with apricot kernel oil afterwards. I've seen some really good recipes for homemade skin lotions and washes made on keifer water/milk that I plan I trying out when I get around to making the keifer.

We use moogoo - DD has a bit of eczema too - they have a great moisturiser too just for it.

Thanks guys so it looks like goats milk soap and Moogoo products seem to be the go. Where do you buy goats milk soap? I have seen moogoo at the chemist - do they sell a bath wash or is it just an afterbath lotion?

there is a moogoo bath wash - called creatively - Milk Wash (lol). We use it in the bath then the MooGoo psosiris & eczema cream and at times follow this with the MSM cream. If you can't get it at the chemist, try a health food shop (that's where I get mine from) or online at the moogoo store.
