    ear infection and blocked ear

last wednesday night i developed an ear infection, got ab's the following arvo, not although the pain has gone the ringing and the fact that my ear is blocked hasnt gone as yet, ite better but still there, anyone know how long it can take for the fluid to go?? Dr said it was a bad one and not to be surprised if it ruptured (which it didnt) my hearing in that side is bad as a result so hoping it gets better soon

    can anyone help

Could it be a build up of wax? When Brendan gets an ear infection he's on AB's as well as drops to clear the wax (which can be bought over the counter at the chemist)

Eat lots of garlic or take garlic capsules, it will help your immune system.

I have taken some Demazin/Dimetapp/Cold and Flu tabs to dry things up before (was a tad desperate tho). Hope you are feeling better soon. Ear aches are awful! xx
