    Quilt size

We are making moves to get dd into a big girl bed. We'd like to get a king single that will last her a long time, but im wondering what size doona do you use? I've seen king single comforters but not plain quilts/doona's or king single doona covers. Would you use a double?

Zander has a single on his, it covers just the top of his bed without any overhang.

I'd get a double because it's much easier to find double covers than king single.

They have lots of doona covers that are king single if you order through Ezibuy. Good luck.

I'd go a double - easier to find covers, less specialised so may end up cheaper, and it's nice to have a biggie which covers properly without getting lost in the night

Double. I used to work in a bed & bath shop and we sold king single fitted sheets but nothing else king single- advice was always to get double flat sheets, doona & doona cover.

For a little person, I prefer single just so they don't get lost & tangled in it.

That's a good point Sarah we can always get the double later when she is bigger. I have seen the one I want and it is all sold out in double so might get the single
