    Lots of mint, what to do with it?

    I set up a tiny herb garden assuming everything would die
    My mint has taken over like wildfire and I have no idea how to use it.
    Need advice lovely ladies

    Dry it and make mint tea. You just stick the dried, crushed up leaves in one of those little sieve tea thingies you'd use with loose leaf tea.

    Or make mint sauce to have with lamb.

    or just in chilled water with a touch of lemon juice.

    and mint tea is lovely, as others have said.

    and a few sprigs in your peas while boiling are mice, too

    My friend used to make mint cordial whenever her patch went wild...very refreshing.

    Use it in fattoush
    Make mint jelly
    Make mint tea
    Dry it and put it in bags to scent things
    Broad bean and mint bruschetta (OMG that is such a good idea I think i will make it and blog it)

    And on Friday night, Jamie Oliver used dried mint on a Greek lamb dish. Looked really good.

    You don't have old poms in the family? My grandmother is from Liverpool and she CANNOT have overdone lamb without mint sauce
