How many shoes do you own?

Had a cupboard cleanout today and discovered, a little ashamedly, that I have 44 pairs of shoes. This is after I sent 6 pairs to the thrift shop and threw 4 pairs away.

Now I don't spend much on shoes, usually not more that $20 sometimes a fair bit less and some are more than 5 years old. It still seemed like a lot to me though.

So how many pairs do you have?

Ahhh jees...erm..hee hee...I have no idea!!! I know I have at least 10 pairs of trainers! Only because I have to buy a new pair about every three months...there's nothing really wrong with them for most people but as an instructor they are no good after about the three month mark...between $150 and $200 a pair thats a lot of money

I guess about 6 pairs of thongs, 10 ish pairs of strappy things, 2 pairs of nice boots, 4 pairs of Uggy type things...what else...other shoes I guess 10ish pairs.

So yup pretty close! Wow thats a scary thought!!!

    Um... 4 or 5... no, no not 45.... 4 or 5...

I have... a pair of trainers, a pair of masseur sandals, a pair of heels that I will NEVER wear again, a pair of flat dressy covered shoes, and a pair of slippers (if they count)...

My sister, on the other hand, just went through her cupboard and she posted a pic on FB... it looked like about 50 pairs. Let me go count...
ETA: On second inspection, she actually has an album called 'Shoesssssssssssss' (yes, like that). There is one pair that I'm sure she never wears that she bought because they had cupcakes on them.

The caption below the cupcake shoes tell me that they are TUK. If that makes them any more or less impressive?

I only have 20 pairs at the moment because I culled about 10 pairs a couple of weeks ago. I need to go out buy some more as I need some heels for summer for work plus some more weekend shoes now that it is starting to warm up.

Well I just got rid of 10 pairs that haven't seen the light of day for at least 2 years....and in April I culled half of my beautiful shoe collection as we were moving interstate....I had lots. I love shoes....I had a whole wall in my walk in just for them, sigh.

Now I have left myself with the practical obvious needed ones (sandals, sneakers, thongs), a few for different mood changes, Two pairs of high heel boots that I've had for years and are beautiful, one pair of flat boots, and a pair of hot pink snake skin Midas Wedges...never been worn out but cost too much and too pretty to give to charity lol.

On the other hand I don't do handbags and only own 3 or 4.

Umm I have sandal type things, my docs, my converse and a pair of thongs. I did have a pair of sneakers but they were sooo uncomfortable, so if I ever get to the gym I just wear my converse.

i have 3 pairs that i wear religously, my gallaz whitch are in need of retiring might bring my self to do it next month. my havanas love them and need a new pair, there a little in the thin side and my hoodies for feet.
ive got a pair of mini heels for special occasions or im wearing a dress(very rare!)
i also have 5 rediculously high ones that i will most likely never wear, the other half refers to them as my "stripper shoes" as they are so high you almost need a stilt walker degree to walk in! i know i will never wear them but there just so prety!! and it is because of those shoes i have been told, no more shes unless i need them, so new joggers and thongs will def be allowed!!!!
so all up about 9, altho 6 just sit there looking good!

I had alot of shoes before I moved house, I mean alot! but I donated, gave away, threw away all but 1 pair of heels, 1 pair of thongs, 1 pair of flats and 1 pair of sneakers. I have since added a pair of boots and a new pair of flats but I did throw out my old flats... so to answer your question, I now have 5 pairs of shoes.

Hrm. Black boots, brown boots, walking shoes, silly sandals, gardening shoes x 2, black slip-ons, plus fuzzy brown uggs for winter inside. That's 8 ... do gardening shoes even count? Mine look awful and are covered in mud, paint etc.

My partner has at least a dozen pairs of boots alone, but considerably more once you add in gardening shoes and walking shoes.

Okay, I feel really bad now that everyone's posted what they have. But I honestly couldn't survive on 5 pairs! I gotta coordinate with what I wear! I have lots of sandals, black ones, silver, red, brown. A couple of heels and lots of flats in various shades and styles!

PLEASE some other shoe aholic come in and post to make me feel better!
