    URGENT Minor heat burn HELP!

OMG I feel like the worst mother at the moment
I took Julia to kinder and then came home and had a shower (usually Tara likes coming in with me) but this morning she wanted a bath, I put her in the bath with the bath water running tested it with my hand and it was fine. Then I turned the shower on and she wasnt sitting down in the bath. So I got her out and she was upset, I gave her and I quick wash under shower and as we got out I noticed her feet all red, like sock I feel like such a bad mum. I put QV cream on to cool them down and have now put wet socks on her (Julia's size so not resricting) I tried cold ice pack or wet cold towel but she wont keep them on. Has this happened to anyone? what do you do??? its changing colour to less pink now thank god.

Oh no hun don't feel bad, it can happen to anyone. Can you call something like Nurse On Call (not sure if you have that in NSW) for some advice?? I would think if the colour is getting better and not worse (blistering) she should be fine.

ETA: Just found this number. I call NOC all the time just for reassurance. THey should assess over the phone and tell you if you need to do anything else. 1800 022 222
