I need a new phone!

I've had my phone for about 3/4 years now, just a simple old pre paid Nokia. Lately it's been turning itself off randomly and the screen is getting a bit hard to see through (thanks DD for chewing on it ). So I need to upgrade!!

Not really sure what to get, if I should stay on pre paid or get a plan. I really don't use it that much and would be lucky to go through $20 credit every 2 months, but Telstra have changed their pre paid system and any credit I have left after a certain period gets removed anyway so I hate that more often than not I have credit left and it just disappears.
I don't need anything too fancy and nothing that breaks too easily because my poor phone gets dropped a fair bit Would like a phone that connects to the Next G network, because there are even dead spots on the regular Telstra network in our house!

Telstra now have a pre paid cap. When you recharge $30 or more you get extra credits for calls and surfing the net so look into that.

My DS has a Samsung C5220 pre paid Telstra phone whith a 'blue tick' which is really good. He gets service where I can't. It's only $89. The Nokia 6120 is also great, I used to have one and could get phone service everywhere. That one is $99.
