    Which way to go?

So DD has a cot in our room is hardly in it.She sleeps with me in the big bed most of night,as its easier than me getting up then down etc all night with her constant feeding and needing the comfort, which is fine by me i do not mind at all..

Thing is she is rolling all over the place now and im super worried she will get to the one edge that is not near the wall and fall off,i try to keep her on the wall side, but i really need to feed her with more Breasts at night which i don't do if she stays near wall..

So i was thinking we need to do one of 2 things

1.Move her cot right up next to our bed so i can slide her back in maybe after her feeds or so at least that side will be protected from rolling off

    2. take down our bed( super easy to do, we have done it heaps) and just sleep on the mattress which we have done before and don't mind.

    what do u think?

Either sounds good babe, I have the cot right up next to the bed and it's great!!

But if you don't mind having your mattress on the floor then that might be the least disruptive option. Sliding bubby over to the cot can be a PITA if she is not quite asleep and you wake her up.

How about using one of those bedrails that are used on kids beds? That way, one side against the wall and the bed rail on the other.
You can get them from bed shops or a baby bunting will definitely have them.

We have done all of the suggestions above. We started off with a toddlers bed rail and then we bought a cot which we sidecarred (took off one side and pushed it right up to the side of our bed. All worked well but he very very rarely slept in the cot but it provides a side barrier and gives me a little more leg room if nothing else! When he started rolling about and because DH blamed our cheap bed frame for his bad back, we ditched it and now sleep on just the mattress. It helped DH's back and means we don't worry about him falling off if he was to wake up and crawl about when he is alone in bed in the first part me the evening or if we somehow managed to sleep through him playing when he wakes up!
